Online Learning Center Sample Pages
Designed as a curriculum enhancement for Christian
Discoveries program participants, the newly-launched Online Learning Center
provides intellectual exploration before the educational travel program
even begins! Registered students can visit anywhere they have internet access,
or teachers can take an entire class online for new learning adventures.
The Online Learning Center features four sections:
Sites and Snapshots
- Students view pictures, explore relevant links, and follow the factual
timeline to learn more about their educational travel program destination.
Think Tank -
Students use the hyperlinks to take virtual tours, play games, or delve
deeper into investigation topics, and then record it all in an online learning
log for future reference.
Quiz Show -
Students put themselves in the spotlight to show off their newly acquired
knowledge! The quizzes automatically correct when completed, allowing students
to monitor progress and learn from mistakes.
Discovery for Credit -
Students apply the knowledge they gained on their program and work with
an online educator to earn high school credit.

See all the popular sites you might visit on a Christian Discoveries
program. Sites and Snapshots lets you get a jump on your educational
adventure, and will help you with your school projects. You will be
able to read a brief description about each site, see images, and
explore hyperlinks.

Think Tank
We've done some homework for you. Explore classroom subjects . . .the
interactive way! Tons of hyperlinks for fun discoveries, games, images,
virtual tours, and much more. You will be able to take notes in your
own LEARNING LOG. Type in answers to questions or notes you know you
might need for an upcoming school test or project, and then print
them out. Taking notes doesn't get any easier. |

Quiz Show
How much information did you learn from the Think Tank? Do you need
a little extra practice before your school quiz? Take a twenty question
multiple-choice quiz! Grading is done instantaneously so you don't
have to wait, and the correct answers will then be highlighted.

Discovery For Credit
WorldStrides and Christian Discoveries offers this EXCLUSIVE opportunity
for you to make the most of your trip experience by earning one elective
credit towards your high school graduation. You must travel on your
four or more day program to Washington, D.C./Williamsburg and complete
the online course. You will never have another opportunity to have
this much fun learning, and earn a high school credit! Click
