Full Refund Program
The Full Refund Program is a unique plan that is designed to protect participants’ investment and hard-earned dollars. Three out of four trip participants take advantage of this Program every year.

If a participant need to cancel prior to trip departure, he will receive a refund (less the program and all non-refundable fees*), regardless of the date or the reason. No questions asked. Over the years, we've made full refunds for unexpected situations including illness, academic problems, scheduling conflicts, weddings, job transfers, etc. The program does not make refunds in the event the trip is canceled as a result of or following an act of God, war (whether declared or not), terrorism, civil unrest, or in the event of WorldStrides' bankruptcy, insolvency, or cessation of business. All requests for cancellation must be made in writing and postmarked prior to the group’s departure. The modest fee for the Full Refund Program is added to the total trip price.
*The non-refundable deposit, fees for returned checks, late payments, handling charges, late registration, and merchandise purchases are not refundable.

Fund Raising

Christian Discoveries wants your trip to be the best it can be. Many teachers have found that fund raising helps bring students and the community together on a financial and social level. Listed below are a few benefits of fund raising and steps to get started.

Benefits of Fund Raising

Helps raise a portion of the trip cost

Encourages more registrations - if price is an issue, parents and students are both more likely to register if they have the opportunity to raise part of the money. Many parents like their children to work for a portion of the cost so that they appreciate the trip more.
Creates camaraderie among students and chaperones - this is particularly helpful if you're taking students and/or teachers from different schools or classrooms.
Steps to Fund Raising

Setting Objectives - Professional fundraisers recommend setting a specific objective ahead of time so that everyone is working toward a goal. You can work toward a group goal or encourage students to set their own individual goals. Parents might also be involved in this decision. It is easier to set goals in terms of a percentage of the cost of the trip: 25%, 50% or 100%.

Determining the Time Commitment - There are two approaches to fund raising based on the amount of time you are able to commit: working with an outside company, or doing it on your own. If your time commitment is limited, you may prefer pre-packaged fund raising options (bringing in a representative from a company) or rely on a parent. However, you may find that you or a team of parents have the time and desire to coordinate the fund raising on your own.
