Join us for an interactive introduction to the science education opportunities in Florida and Costa Rica - two destinations offering unique and exciting hands-on adventures!

ScienceQuest is the perfect chance for educators to get a glimpse of Costa Rican wildlife and culture, interact with representatives from a unique preservation organization in Florida, and enjoy an unforgettable learning experience.

You are invited to bring a qualified educator of your choice.  To apply to attend, please submit the online application form below.  An Educational Travel Specialist will contact you soon to review your application.

Teacher Appreciation Evening

  • Arrive at the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner(4:00-6:00 p.m.)
  • Network with fellow educators as you enjoy a delectable dinner.
  • Relax and unwind during an envening of entertainment and fun as participate in a "Monte Carlo" themed game night!
  • Spend the night in deluxe accommodations

Experience a Day of Interactive Learning

  • Participate in a presentation led by a WorldStrides Course Leader showcasing the scientific excursions available to you and your students.
  • Interact with live invertebrates in a touch tank activity led by Island Dolphin Care!
  • Network with fellow teachers while enjoying a delicious lunch.
  • Learn about the unique role fruit bats play in the biodiversity of Costa Rica from representatives of La Tirimbina Rainforest Center.   

The program will conclude by 3:00 p.m.
